The Small Business Enterprise Centre (SBEC) is excited to host its Bridges to Better Business event on September 25, 2025, at the Elgin County Railway Museum!

 

This annual event will enable the community to celebrate the achievements of small businesses from Elgin County and St. Thomas, and gather to enjoy the return of the Food Showcase, showcasing the talents and incredible flavours of Elgin County and St. Thomas. 

 

Over a dozen small businesses will be recognized for their contributions to the community, and over 20 food-based enterprises will be featured, providing attendees with a taste of St. Thomas and Elgin County. A cash bar featuring local beverages will also be available.

 

In addition to the Small Business Awards, Local Food Showcase, and the celebratory nature of the evening, we will welcome Canadian Crooner Matt Dusk to the stage following the awards to close out the evening in song! It will be a night for the memory books as the dulcet tones of jazz carry through the historic venue for this one-of-a-kind experience. 

Guests don’t need to be a part of the small business community to enjoy celebrating alongside our local entrepreneurs.  The event is open to anyone who wishes to join us in celebration!
