By accessing or using the Hop Event Ticketing platform ("Service"), operated by Hop Event Ticketing ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, including event organizers, ticket purchasers, and visitors to our website.
Hop Event Ticketing provides an online event ticketing platform, in-person gate management services, and related support services for event organizers and attendees in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Our services include online ticket sales, QR code-based check-in, door sales processing, and event management tools.
All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by the event organizer. Refund policies are set by the individual event organizer and not by Hop Event Ticketing. Please contact the event organizer directly for any refund requests.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by the rules and policies of the event venue and organizer. Hop Event Ticketing is not responsible for event cancellations, postponements, or changes made by the event organizer.
Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the event organizer. Resale of tickets at a price above the original purchase price is prohibited.
Event organizers using the Service are responsible for the accuracy of event information, including dates, times, locations, and descriptions. Event organizers are also responsible for setting and communicating their own refund and cancellation policies to attendees.
Event organizers agree to comply with all applicable local, provincial, and federal laws and regulations related to their events, including health and safety requirements, licensing, and accessibility standards.
Payment processing is handled through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We accept credit card and Interac payments.
All prices are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include any applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. Service fees, if any, will be clearly displayed before purchase confirmation.
Event organizers must create an account to use the management features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to update your information as necessary to keep it current.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, or to any systems or networks connected to the Service.
You agree not to use automated systems, bots, or scripts to purchase tickets or access the Service in a manner that could overload our infrastructure.
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Hop Event Ticketing and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hop Event Ticketing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Hop Event Ticketing is not liable for the actions, omissions, or conduct of event organizers or other third parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hop Event Ticketing, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
